The Traveling Black Women Network is a travel resource network that provides travel goods and services for novice to seasoned Black, female travelers. The Network was built from the publication of the travel guide, Diary of a Traveling Black Woman: A Guide to International Travel, written by Nadine C. Duncan in 2015.


This guide aimed to emphasize the accessibility of travel and provide an overview of what to expect when traveling as a Black woman. Since then, the network has grown to include 9 points of engagement including 11+ travel guides, a podcast, blog, vlog, and interactive Facebook group.

The Dose of Travel Club is a travel community and boutique travel industry with a mission to inspire and empower people of color to travel. It all started with an online community when founder, Nabila Ismail, the creator of Dose of Travel shared her travel experiences as a solo female South Asian American traveler.
