Day 1
Luxè Week Dinner on the Nile
After checking into your Cairo hotel, the week begins with an unforgettable evening on the Nile. Step aboard a traditional Dahabiya river cruise for a welcome dinner like no other — a multi-course feast of authentic Egyptian flavors, crafted from the freshest local ingredients. As the boat drifts past Cairo’s glowing skyline, you’ll share this magical experience with your new Luxè Week companions, setting the tone for the adventures and connections that await.
Day 2
Giza Pyramids Tour
Today, you’ll experience one of the world’s greatest wonders: the Pyramids of Giza and the mighty Sphinx. Wander the ancient plateau with a guide who brings pharaohs and mysteries to life, before venturing into the desert for a scenic camel ride and an adrenaline-fueled ATV adventure across golden dunes. Midday, pause for a traditional Egyptian lunch with breathtaking views. Blending history, culture, and adventure, this day will stay with you long after Luxè Week in Egypt.
Day 3
Cairo Museums and Markets
Your Cairo adventure begins at the Saladin Citadel, where grand mosques and sweeping city views set the tone. From there, explore the Egyptian Museum and its legendary treasures — including the artifacts of Tutankhamun. Step into the historic streets of Coptic Cairo to uncover ancient churches and spiritual heritage before pausing for a traditional Egyptian lunch. In the afternoon, lose yourself in the vibrant Khan el-Khalili bazaar, filled with spices, jewelry, and handcrafted finds. Blending history, culture, and local life, this day is a true immersion into the soul of Cairo.
Day 4
Travel to Luxor
Fly from Cairo to Luxor, the ancient city once known as Thebes and home to Egypt’s most
legendary temples. After checking in, take some time to unwind before the evening’s
highlight.
As night falls, witness the spectacular Sound & Light Show at Karnak Temple, where
history comes alive through illuminated ruins, dramatic storytelling, and the voices of
Egypt’s past.
It’s a magical introduction to Luxor—blending myth, history, and atmosphere
under the stars.
Day 5
Luxor Day Trip
Begin on Luxor’s West Bank at the Valley of the Kings, where intricate tombs reveal the secrets and artistry of Egypt’s pharaohs. Continue to the striking Temple of Hatshepsut, carved dramatically into the desert cliffs, before pausing at the towering Colossi of Memnon — silent guardians of Thebes for over 3,000 years. After a traditional Egyptian lunch, cross to the East Bank to explore the grand Temple of Karnak, with its forest of monumental columns and sacred lake. End the day at Luxor Temple, perfectly aligned with the Nile and glowing at sunset — an unforgettable finale to a journey through Egypt’s ancient wonders.

Hot Air Balloon Tour
Rise early for a once-in-a-lifetime hot air balloon ride over Luxor, drifting above the Nile and ancient temples as the desert glows in the morning light. After a day of reflection and relaxation, gather in the evening for a farewell dinner by the river. Savor authentic Egyptian dishes in a serene setting, raising a glass to new friendships and the unforgettable memories made during your Luxè Week in Egypt.
Day 7
Final Day
At 1PM we say our goodbyes, parting with heavy hearts but full of gratitude for an unforgettable week in Egypt. Together, we’ve explored ancient wonders, shared once-in-a-lifetime experiences, and built connections that will last long after the trip ends. Because Luxè Week isn’t just about the places we visit — it’s about the friendships that endure and the memories that stay with us wherever we go. Frequently asked questions
Which airport should I fly into?
Our trip begins in Cairo, with the nearest airport being Cairo International Airport (CAI). We would highly recommend flying in the day before your week is due to start and booking transitionary (e.g. hotel or AirBnb) accommodation for the night so that you do not miss any of the activities on the first day and are on time for check-in.
Which airport should I fly out of?
The trip will end in Luxor so you could either fly out from there, or get a domestic flight back to Cairo and continue your journey home from there.
Which currency do they use in Egypt?
In Egypt they use the Egyptian Pound (EGP). The current conversion is $1USD = 48EGP.
