Bali’s known for its beauty and picturesque scenery so here’s a little piece to tell you about the best locations to go to so you can have a host of timeless pictures in your camera roll which you look back on you Bali adventure.
Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary
Who doesn’t love a bit of wildlife, especially animals that we share so much with biologically. The Ubud monkey forest is home to over 700 Balinese Long-Tailed monkeys. These monkeys are an extremely inquisitive and intelligent species so make sure you keep your valuables safe when around them! The forest itself is a thing of beauty, with 200 species of tree and 12.5 hectares to explore, there's plenty of opportunities to take pictures in the Sanctuary. They say if you’re lucky enough to get the perfect picture with a monkey on your shoulder you have been blessed by Mount Agung!
Finns Beach Club
Finns is THE location to be at for a luxury experience on the beach in one of the world's most amazing beach venues. Boasting 4 pools, 9 bars and 5 restaurants this place is a photographers heaven when it comes to snapping that party lifestyle. Just check out the #Finnsbeachclub
hashtag to see what people are posting and you’ll understand why. Whether it be the VIP day beds, pool beds or up on the party platform there’s always somewhere to take a picture here.
Maybe the most iconic spot to take a picture in Bali. The Kelingking cove is a secluded white sandy beach with turquoise waters that looks like one of those perfect pictures from a postcard. Standing 200m above the ocean staring down on the waves below is a sight to behold and one you may see yourself coming back to time and time again when you scroll through your camera roll.
Mount Batur, I wanted to save the best for last because this is a truly magical piece of nature. Bali would not even be an island if it wasn’t in part for this volcano erupting for the past however many thousands of years. Mount Batur and its bigger sister Mount Agung are the reason Bali is the island it is today so it's only right one of the best pictures you can take in Bali is on the summit of Batur overlooking the rest of the island. You want to get here at sunrise so you can take in the sun shining its light across the horizon and capture the perfect picture with you and your loved ones. You’ll have to set off early from your accommodation to start your hike up, its common to meet at base camp at around 3am to start your ascent up Batur.
I hope this little piece gives you a bit of inspiration on where to go when you book your next adventure to Bali, because capturing memories is everything!
